Chris brings nearly 25 years of professional design experience to Bluegreen, joining our Aspen studio in 2020. He is a registered landscape architect in Colorado and Oregon, earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon.

Having a strong technical understanding of the construction process allows Chris to provide creative design solutions that use materials efficiently, are practical to implement, and work within the defined budget. He is passionate about the sustainable use of water and enjoys the opportunity to integrate stormwater as a design amenity. His body of work spans a wide range of project types, where he has assisted numerous public, private, non-profit, and Federal clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Chris has resided in the Roaring Fork Valley for over a decade and is actively involved as a volunteer trail steward and board member of Carbondale's Red Hill Council. When not working in the studio, he can most often be found mountain biking, exploring new landscapes, or searching for Ancestral Puebloan history in the Utah desert.
