arbaney kittle addition

On a gently sloping property adjacent to the Roaring Fork Club and immediately proximite to downtown Basalt, the Roaring Fork Club is proposing much needed enhancements to the project site, known as the Arbaney Kittle Addition.  Site planning that responds to the terrain, maximizes solar gain, optimizes valley views and minimizes disturbance to the native vegetation and wildlife habitat are primary objectives.

The proposed improvements are combined with innovative approaches to sustainability, including expansion of the club’s successful Audubon international program and commitment to the Roaring Fork Conservancy’s mission to improve the quality of the Roaring Fork Watershed.  The Roaring Fork Club is internationally known for its conservation based development and the Arbaney Kittle Addition transcends these practices.  The club’s expansion includes 12 new residential cabins, a spa and wellness facility, additional employee housing and a relocated and improved maintenance facility.  In addition, new ponds and streams enhance habitat and wildlife diversity and new trail connections promote accessibility.
